1. Facial Cleanser

Welcome to Skin Care channel!

First thing first, I am going to talk throughly about my skin condition.
I have a combination to oily skin and just slightly towards the prone and acne side, which means that I do get break-out sometimes, but other than that, I only have blackheads and whiteheads around my nose area.

We all know that the basic of getting a healthy skin is to keep it clean! Therefore, cleanser is a compulsory step that you MUST do everyday! Due to the characteristics of my skin, I always search for those cleansers that can help to clean these pores deeply and resolve my face oiliness, but still gentle enough to not irritate my skin since my skin can easily get blemishes.

AND YES, I FOUND IT!

This GARNIER PURE ACTIVE 3-in-1 CLEANSER is a saver for me! It works perfectly on my skin! It helps to remove any excess sebum, unclog pores and unify skin tone. There are also THREE ways to use this product. You can either use it as a daily cleanser, or use it as a scrub or a mask. This cleanser contains zinc that helps to regulate skin tone, eucalyptus to soothe irritated skin and clay to purify and tighten pores.

I use this as a daily cleanser and it works perfectly removing any excess sebum and dead skin cells on my face, as well as deep cleansing and purifying those dirty pores. The texture of this cleanser is similar to a facial scrub texture, so it is not creamy but rather sandy. I don't recommend anyone that has sensitive skin to use this on a daily basis, since it might irritate your skin. Another great thing about this is that it can easily be found in nearly any supermarket or pharmacy in your local area like Woolworths, Coles, Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, etc. The product is retailed from $10.95 (price may vary on locations), which is a very reasonable price for a cleanser that works wonderfully.

That's all for today! Until next time, stay gorgeous 💕

Love,
XOXO

Cosmetic Chemical and Ecosystem Disruption and Human Health

By Rong Feng Today, I’d like to discuss hazardous cosmetic chemical – BHA and BHT. The chemical components of many products don’t break down and instead accumulate in our ecosystems. Cosmetics and personal care products do their most damage to the environment after they are washed down our sinks. The chemicals are recycled into our lakes, streams, rivers and public water systems. Here are some of the most environmentally damaging chemicals used in cosmetics, including which products you’ll find them in and what effect they have on our ecosystems. For example, t he cosmetics preservatives BHA and BHT also alter behaviour and causes death in fish and shellfish. BHA and BHT also cause genetic mutations in amphibians. BHA and BHT are synthetic antioxidants that are found in many lipsticks and moisturizers. With education and responsible purchasing practices, consumers have the power to stop the pollution caused by cosmetic chemicals, and hence protect our own health.

It is TONER 💖 There are variety of toners out there in the market. There are toner for every skin type! So, what exactly does it do to your skin? Toner is used to balance your skin pH, recover the moisture that lost after you wash your face. Why is it important?
